Job Context
- Daily Administration of factory
Job Responsibilities
- Administration
- This position is responsible to ensure administration of the factory including, providing leadership to the admin staff, real estate management, ERP operation, general services and flawless security of the factory.
- Build rapport with industry related authorities such as Kol Karkhana, Bakhrabad Gas, Palli Biddut, VAT Authority etc. and ensure smooth handling of related issues.
- Management staff and security duty roasters
- Real Estate Maintenance (repairs, housekeeping, landscaping)
- Additional Income Generation from vegetation and fisheries
- Canteen Management | Updated contracts | ensuring hygienic healthy food at reasonable pricing
- Utility Bills Management: Bakhrabad Gas Connection, Palli Biddut, VAT office
- Review and analyze the existing practices to cut cost.
- Take necessary steps to improve the real estate maintenance.
- Access control to factory area.
- Periodically monitor health clinic for readiness to provide services to internal clients
- Human Resources Management
- Strong adherence to HR policies regarding recruitment process, accommodation allocation, performance evaluation etc.
- Follow standardized formats for hiring and terminating workers and contractual employees, orient new recruits with company policies and code of conduct
- Establish the culture and practice in the work place to live by the company’s Code of Conduct
- Train employees, supervisors and department heads the existing Performance Evaluation System. Ensure Performance Evaluation Format is established for all employees.
- Effectively enforce the SOP regarding new recruits and their benefits from joining. Ensure that workers and employees are allocated accommodations as per grade and policy only and deductions are done accordingly.
- Recruitment & Termination: Timely recruitment as per management requirement and compensation standards through professional HR channels. Updated record keeping.
- Strict adherence to attendance, off day, leave, overtime tracking.
- Oversee digital wages payment and uniformed bank deposits for contractual staff records are confidential, transparent and free of any manipulation
- Strict implementation of worker colony and staff accommodation policy. Periodic visits to worker colony and staff accommodations to asses maintenance requirements, place budget prepared through finance and administration
- Training: Conduct periodic training. Identify training requirements.
- Organize Shift/department wise town hall meetings periodically for effectively convey company goals and targets including vision, mission and values and take note of skip level grievances to bridge concerns between employee and management to ensure work place satisfaction. Develop SOP for grievances handling. Identify staff issues and report with recommendations to senior management
- Document and regularly update job descriptions for all position for management approval and orientation to relevant staff
- Regularly update organogram of all departments (with picture and other details)
- Re-engineering: Review worker/staff positions and recommend restructuring for maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Effectively follow employee feedback process
- Rewards and recognition program as per annual performance evaluation
- Effective and timely disciplinary action for misconduct with proper documentation
- One-on-One or group motivational counseling to underperforming workers/staff regularly as and when required.
- Special projects: Organize staffing for special projects, follow through for results
- Stay up-to-date on regularity authority requirements and keep management updated
- Organize regular Zoom Meeting between management and relevant key staff as when applicable
- Issue Government holiday list with management approval
- This position is required to provide with
- day-to-day work progress reporting at the end of each day
- a weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi annually and annual periodic task chart that require repeated attention
- which will be mandatory for periodic performance appraisal for this position.

- Proficient in MS Office Package
- Efficiency in English is needed

- The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-motivated and have pleasant personality with good communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and complete tasks within deadline

- Tk 25000 to 32000 based on interview
