PORTWEST, Ireland a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Full-Stack PHP Developer to be based in Cumilla Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 4600 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 130 countries. We design, manufacture, and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking Full-Stack PHP Developers to work across the organization to execute cutting edge experiences for our B2B customers that will grow our business globally As a Full-Stack PHP developer you will develop, code, deploy and modify personalized and responsive portals and content. You will also play a key role in learning new technology to expand our tech stack. This person needs to quickly understand the tools required, to develop an experience end-to-end that meets the business objectives for our customers. Full-stack PHP development on a micro-service-based environment using PHP/MySQL/Redis in the back-end and VueJS, InertiaJS, and HTML5 for the front-end. Write optimized code for maximum speed and scalability. Convert business requirements in to actionable tasks. Build reusable components, widgets, tools, and code for the broader team Troubleshoot coding issues and bugs. Collaborate with Design team to incorporate visual design into functional web pages. Analyse feature requests and translate them into solution recommendations. Documenting your developments for use by the team. Work closely with local and Irish based digital teams, and stakeholders.. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Must have: 3+ years strong PHP knowledge. 2+ years production experience with Laravel Framework. Solid SQL knowledge, professional experience with MySQL is must Solid knowledge of JavaScript, and working experience with VueJs A clear understanding of OOP, primarily with PHP OOP features and methods of working A clear understanding knowledge of basic Design Patterns A clear understanding with SDLC, Architectural Concepts, and Modern Software Engineering Concepts Be confident with Front-end Development, understanding of HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery A clear understanding of caching, remarkably Redis Understanding and Experience with REST and RESTful API is a must. You should be fluent in API design, development, testing and integration. Knowledge and experience in an Agile development environment Experience with Git Version Control System, Bitbucket Repository Hosting Service An understanding of market best/standard practices in day-to-day programming is required.
